o_O....ALAS, I have watched final fantasy VII: AC, puny mortals..!!!
Okay, so 1 million people have watched it way before I did. Anyhow. Got the precious CD in the mail from jas this afternoon...me and jo-an went beserk, to say the least. We watched it at my place, and omg did it take a freakin long time just figuring out how the hell to play it. Jas said a dvd writer will do, but then eh, it required DIVX (me thinks...). Duno why but my com said it needed 'XVID'. Is that a trick answer? I'm no good at stuff like this.
When it did get playing, it had no subtitles -__-;;;;;;; So we endured the unknown dialogues throughout. It was good though, just listening to their voices. I never expected Yazoo's voice to be that deep, especially when deep-sauve-voice + long-girly-silver-hair don't really mix. But really, he was, in my opinion, the coolest villian I've ever seen who pulls it off so effortlessly.
Erm, Loz was okay. I guess. Eh, I like slim guys, not big dudes on steroids. And there's Kadaj, a villian so eeevvviiil his face practically drips of it. He's got some attitude...!!! WAI..!! He walks like a cunning little CAT, you should see it. It's the sexiest thing. He's so cute at times, and his rebonded silver hair just goes swish swish swish every time he moves his evil head.
Kadaj and Yazoo should be in tv ads promoting Herbal Essence or Dove shampoo, you know. They'll do 100x better than those bimbos. Plus, ya don't hafta pay them. Cos they only take gil :P
Hm...I was kinda disappointed that Sephiroth made such a short appearance. Weird. I could have sworn by the pics that he and Cloud were at it for some time. *sigh*
And CLOUD. Cloud. Cloud. Cloud-o. Was DIVINE. Well, yeah he looked real good in most parts. Sometimes he looked like a little boy with those cute boyish lips. Sometimes he looked like a girl cos the director decided to turn the sun on a little brighter thus making our hero look all fair like a maiden. Like I care. ^__^ He was great-o!!!! Eh he could have looked better if he smiled more. But then again, angsty bishies (short for bishounen which means pretty boy or sth like that) are THE best bishies to drool over.
Sigh, he looked all sad and angry and disappointed and guilty it was so kawaii. Ah, those kiddies at the orphanage he looks after are just. so. freakin. LUCKY. Well, Tifa is too but she KNOWS it. -__- She stares at his chocobo head like she wants ta EAT it. Well, it takes 200% PURE resistance to not just tackle the fellow to the ground and cuddle him, so I take my hat off to Tifa for that. Aeris too. And maybe Zack. Okay I don't want this to venture into yaoi and spoil thy innocent minds so I'll stop.
Hehe...Reno and Rude were just the cutest things. If only I could understand what they were saying to each other -__-;;
Vincent was O__O gorgeous. Eh, I meant Vincent-o. I still don't get how he does that red-cape-swoop thing when he rescused Cloud-o. Anyway, this coming from someone who never played ff7. His very gaze is penetrating. Like, *TING* and he looks right through you. It helps his vampire image thing going on. He looked so insanely beautiful when he was looking at Cloud-o like that, it was a wonder why Cloud didn't jump him right there and then. Again, I won't go much into this.
Ah....the fighting scenes. THE fighting scenes. They were so mind-blowing they left half my brain on the walls. Nice image.
Cloud-o is always the one to suffer. Then again, angsty bishies who suffer ill treatment are such delights ^_^ He's always up against those silver-haired Sephy fan club people. Maybe they're just jealous of 'nee-san' and his chocobo hair. Yes. Back to the fighting. And the freakinghdufhjrasjkljd cool motorbikes. Pretty boys on motorbikes are such fun. Especially if they are decked in black. In the sephy fan club's case, black LEATHER. It's really tight, I can tell. I'm quite sure it's fan service more than anything else.
Yazoo uses the Velvet Nightmare, a firearm that kinda looks like a sword. But it's just a gun. Loz uses electricity that fizzes out of some weird device on his arm...I know it's called Dual Hound, though. And Kadaj (opps, I mean Kadaj-O) uses Souba, a twin blade. I thought about it and I think if I were to use that weapon, I'll get dizzy cos I'm seeing 2 blades at once and pass out before the enemy gets to slice me. I have no idea if Cloud's teh-super-gargantuously-BIG sword has a name, but then again he has several. I don't wanna remember so many names.
The motorbike thing was cool. I don't get why Yazoo and Loz are always the ones fighting fighting fighting to the end and Kadaj gets to take it easy. I mean, they're older, ne? and Kadaj is a teenager. A dysfunctional, bratty, pretty, rebellious teenie poo. I thought the older ones get to boss the younger ones around. Yazoo and Loz must really luurrrve their bwother....aww...
Yup. Oh and I still feel sorry for Cloud-o's precious Ralph Lauren sunglasses that got shot off by Yazoo's gun. But it kinda saved his life, no?
And speaking of sponsers (no RL wasn't one of them I think) the panasonic phone that fell oh-so sadly into the water was kinda confusing for me. It was Kadaj's phone, no? Either he was too pissed with Vincent rescuing Cloud that he forgot about it...or he's got a rich mama who can get him a new one. Cos he didn't mention anything of it later on. If I were him, I would be so devastated I would ask one of my lackey brothers to dive down to get it back for me. After all, they luurrrrvvve him, no?
Oh yesh and Reno vs Yazoo was just the sexiest thing. Eh, Rude vs Loz is....something else altogether. Well, it's not everyday you get to see guys with perfect hair & bods (with kick-ass attitudes to boot) go at it.
But Cloud vs Kadaj/Sephiroth/Yazoo/Loz was the best. Ano...let me rephrase that. Cloud vs ANYONE is hAWt. *fans myself*...I love it. I love the way he swings his sword. It was BORN for him. They were made for each other. Erm, so were the other 99 swords he stashed in his supa-sexy bike.
Don'cha just FEEL the metal rippling under the heavy force of a supa-elegant Kadaj KA-SMASH...?
There must have been so many other things I wanted to mention but I forgot. Well duh I'm too caught up in Cloud's pure shuai-ness to care. Yep, I shall go watch Advent Children for the 3rd time...which will soon escalate to 10...then 20...!!! Or until my player is fried, the human equilivent of a nosebleed after taking in too much Cloud-o. And Vincent-o, and Kadaj-o, and Yazoo...oo?

Just take in that fantastic sight up there *points to cloud strife* and tell me you don't wanna eat him... Those 2 are definitely not the best pics out there, but any pic of Cloud just turns me into mush. It's hard to resist an angsty bishie. Really, bishies are better off angry/sad/rebellious. They just look good like that.
Well, it was really Cloud's design that I liked at first. The one in Advent Children the movie, not the game. Who doesn't like a guy decked in a nice, dark, tight vest with baggy pants and a one-piece shoulder blade carrying a h-h-h-huuuuuuge sword around? He's too skinny for the thing if you ask me, but...they don't call it 'final fantasy' for nothing, eh? His hair is divine, lotsa gel and time in front of the mirror...gotta love a guy who pays attention to his hair. I only noticed this only after watching the ff7 trailer for about the 5th time (...psycho): he has a diamond earring on his left ear that just screamed 'Beckham'!!! It didn't look so appealing after that thought.

Ahem, fantasizing about them final fantasy boys ain't good for health. It results in a dreamy not-in-this-world-might-walk-right-into-a-tree gaze, thoughts of yaoi pairings (if you duno what yaoi is, you probably don't like it so don't go check it out lest you be offended and vomit all over yourself), and excessive nose-bleed. Only if those sick, sick thoughts get the better of you.
Sigh...I always seem to come here when I'm bored out of my mind, huh? Just got a new skecthbook. The previous one is not completely filled, but it's gonna be, and there's just this really nice feeling you get from buying a sketchbook and wondering what you're gonna draw in it next.
Hm...I will definitely work on drawing more realistically, not completely anime-style, like those incredibly air-headed anime girls who have eyes the size of mah FIST, and all those other defects that makes anime characters oh-so incredibly delicious/cute/hot/sexy/perfect. Erm, well, I have a tendency to make characters look 'perfect' anyways, as in nice face, nice bod, yeah. It's a disease borne from over-exposure to anime and manga and yes, Cloud-gazing. Squall is eye candy too. Just can't believe he's 18 o_O whassup with that? He's better off 21 and Cloud 18.

Hohohehe....came back from Insomnia this morning. I thought the games could have been more vigorous but oh well...at least it wasn't a complete waste of time. Hah!
It started outside raffles place mrt where we played our first game. While everyone was running around and being aimless, our group was the only one that stood out cos of our similar bright orange shirts from tp's camp refresh..!!! Haha...whoever came up with the idea to wear similar shirts is a genius...haha...we could have lost each other so easily if we didn't.
There were a total of 4 buses...4 groups in each bus. My group...called ourselves the bananas. Original, ne? That was really the first thing that came to mind cos of obvious reasons. Well, as opposed to 'M18', 'pikachu'...and the last team whose name i forgot cos it was so lame >_<...yup. The first task was - surprise surprise!!! - a trip to the cemetry!! I forgot its name, but it was in the middle of nowhere and stretched on...forevvvvvvaa.....
We were given 5 descriptions and were supposed to find dead people who fit those...criteria. Like, find someone who died 80 years ago...Find someone who died less than a year old. Stuff like that. It wasn't scary at all. So many people were out with torches...!!! The only freaky thing was that I was so terrified that I would kick over an urn or something.
The second stop was some kinda fish-bidding area. -_-;; These fishermen or whoever were up at 2am just to transport fishies here and there. It was so bustling! Despite the smell, it was a cool experience. We were given $2 to bid for the largest fish possible. Largest fish with the least price wins. So, it was pretty obvious we were gonna lose, cos we finished it way too early, and the fish wasn't all that big. My teammate managed to lower the price of this fishie from $6 to $2...it was a good bargain though. Haha...on the way back to the meeting place we tried to stuff the fish to make it look bigger...we even contemplated squishing it to make it flatter = longer XD Alas, one other group got a smaller fish. For free. The 2nd group got 2 fish for $2....ok, so we were supposed to get just 1 fish I duno whats up with that. The winning group got a stingray. For free. Oh whoopie we lost.
Punishment was rice crackers with wasabi (spl?). Ah, at first I didn't think it would be that bad, but the girl took out a whole tube of it and squeezed an unhealthy blob of it onto each of our crackers. Oh gosh. Like putting icing on a cake. VERY hot icing. I popped the whole thing into my mouth being the out-of-my-mind, WTF-am-i-doing nutter that I am. It was just a normal spiciness at first, then came the eruption. Went right from my mouth to my nostrils to my brain, eleminating several hundred brain cells on the way. Lasted for only 3 seconds. At least it was better than slowly eating it like my teammates and suffering for minutes on end.
The 3rd stop was at Labrodor (forgive my poor lack of general knowledge) Park where we played candle soccer. For the most part we just chilled out beneath the stars, cos my group won easily. Heh. Jeff burnt the string so quickly...its a wonder how that puffer fish managed to do that. Hehehe... Then jamie started obsessing with lighting candles and sticking them onto the tables. And ya hui had a sudden fascination with burning things. Nah, it didn't result in a forest fire. Just endless billows of smoke...if you were to look from afar it would look like we were smoking....haha..
The fourth stop was at this cheese prata shop ^_^ Oh boy oh boy did they have good prata...!!! Ate the egg cheese prata...*mouth waters*...with the Dinosaur (its a drink). WAI..!!! Nice breakfast....at 4+am no less...It's funny how some people were already at the shop eating...breakfast(?) So early. The uncle there was so nice ya, and when me n my friend went to the crummy toilet, we passed by the kitchens. Sugoiiii....just like making pizza...
Last stop was outside esplanade where we gave out the prizes. Surprisingly my group got 2nd within our bus...!! Hah, I thought we'd get last! I duno what we did but whatever. Man, there was barely anyone at the mrt when we went home. Heh, it was so fun. Me n jo-an just sat on the floor of the mrt cos those aunties n uncles went rushing for the seats as usual. Oh man, I thought 53 would be kinda empty but I didn't know these...these early birds woke up so early just to be on the bus >_<
It feels like its still friday. Nice feeling. Haha....
Ah, I suddenly have an obsession with Cloud Strife from ff7. I love Squall....he's my fave forever. But for now with the movie ff7: AC already out, I think I'll settle with Cloud ^_^ Hm...Cloud..his parents must have been really cool to name him after something in the sky. Oh I like Sephiroth too....and Kadaj, of course...his face just screams EVIL!! To think he's only in his teens...tsk tsk. His uber silky silver hair is just so....dreamy. But he can't beat Cloud when it comes to hair.
Hehe....oh and Kadaj's sword is just too small in my opinion. Cloud's sword is teh HUGE. Wonder how those skinny arms manage to handle such a baby. Gu gu ga? The way he swwwiiinnnggss that sword is just OoooooOooo.....
Hm, let's see, I think I've watched the ff7 trailer (about 4 of them in total) more than 10 times. Am I mad? I guess I just want an excuse to see Cloud's pwetty face over n over n over XD Now I'm just waiting for my friend to burn a CD of the movie for me....wow, just watching the trailer gives me such an adrenaline rush...I think I'll just burst out the roof when I see an animated Cloud adjusting his uber cool sunglasses. Teh, how can anyone *resist* that hopeless gaze....that black-clad bod....that spiky hair...WoOt!!
