Uh, did I mention quitting my job? Well yeah anyway I did long time ago. old news.
So...I've just finished designing 28 names-on-envelopes thingie for my mum and her office peoples. Hope the Jap people like it. Made me go a little crazy, that one, but I volunteered cos it kinda reminded me of sec sch days when I did those kinda stuff for friends. Used the font I designed for typo last sem..at least I know it aint a total waste.
Now, I gotta finish 2 commissions by the end of this hol, which ehh, isn't really enough time for some slack-tard like me.
The first is the tiresome 28 pics for my *ahem* neighbour. Yeah. For her book actually, a children's book thing. Second is from my cousin in canada. Damn, he's doing so well with his damn game and earning damn money. Damn. He asked me to design a logo for his company. Ugh, just reminds me of that one night I spent on that bloody taj mahal logo for typo. I got nothing against taj mahal but the assignment just..scarred me. terribly.
I guess I'm doing the logo thing alone, but I know nuts about logo design..I probably know cheap methods and not like those..people..who uhh use some funny tool or whatever.
Anyways, (starts to get really bored..) I got freaked out just now when a gross lizard jumped out from somewhere at the sink. Yeah I was washing a cup. hm yeah. I just hope my parents didn't hear my cry of terror from their bedroom. The end..!
I'm not really in the mood for blogging, but was I ever in the mood? So I'll make this nice & short (hopefully I won't ramble).
Went to east coast yesterday with jo-an and her youth group...met so many nice people..!! Yea, they were the best. Cycled for uhh 2hr+ to both ends of the park and back to the meeting point. Hm, maybe I should mention a couple of names here, since all of the people I met were so friendly and I would feel guilty if I didn't. Nyaahh...gomen *bows*
It rained suddenly as we were gobbling down the refreshments. Eh, we thought it would stop after a while, but it only got worse worse worse >_<;;; Haha, it was the best time I've ever had at east coast. We were soaked to the bone. Dots, and whose damn idea was it for everyone to wear white >_>;;
Gosh, I was still munching away under our collection of umbrellas throughout. Can't waste good food, k....
Anyways we ran to the tents nearby (I think they belonged to some malay event people) but it was damn cold. Shivering cold. Tremble tremble cold. Goodness, and it was so hot just a few minutes before. Not only were my legs gonna be cramped up the next day, but I would probably get fever or something. But nah, none of those. My butt hurts though. HURTZ >.
My bag went missing for a dramatic moment, cos the bags were all left covered with trashbags in the rain. At some point people went to retrieve them. Me n jo-an went to hunt for ours but m-m-m-ine was not there *faint*...but since the pastor was running around that area it was impossible for someone to have uhh stolen it, non? Ah anyways adel (sryyyyy duno how to spell!!) was the one who found it. I seriously duno how I could have missed it. *bangs head*
It was fun. Saw a rainbow after that. It was already fading when we tried to take pics. Hahaa...enjoyable day, altogether. Met some really awesome guys and gals. Oh, yea and we practically squeezed ourselves dry in the toilets after that. I uhh...*poured* water out of my shoes. Enough to fill a mcdonalds plastic cup for water :D
Still drank cold mocha after that -_-;; But my dad treated us, so yeah. Cold outside...might as well cold inside.
Okie, anyways, the results for this sem were online already. Buaahh *cough cough*. I HATE my results. But, I think I deserved most of them. Well, I thought I was gonna fail stuff like dmfun and typo, but good gracious I didn't :D...so I'm happy for that. The only thing I like is the nice 'distinction' there for ideation. The rest of the grades just seem to blur it out for some reason. Disgusting. *tears the paper*...
Found a job at clarke quay. Dots, took so long to find that place. Anyways, it was above a coffee shop -_-;; Yea, but so is everything else.
Training starts tomorrow. Maybe after that I'll have less time to finish that commission thingie. Gosh, 28 pics!!! *cries wif arms outstreched*.....

Well, other than that, my parents saw a python on the way back home from market this morning. It was under this lady's car. They wanted to tell her but afraid she would freak out. Yeah, the thing was 3m long. Cool. Okay, that's it :D
